Welcome to Old Keene Mill Swim & Racquet Club
Known
far and wide as OKM, we are a membership club in the Burke area of Fairfax County, Virginia.
With youth teams for swim, dive and tennis, adult tennis, and many social activities throughout the season, we are a
busy enterprise.
We have a covered pavilion, umbrella tables, and a shaded baby pool, plus a snack bar, barbeque grill, shuffleboard,
ping pong, and some of the friendliest members around - what more could you need to have a fantastic summer? Throughout the
season, OKM is great place to catch up with old friends, and meet new ones.
For members with a more "dry land" oriented
leaning, come check out our tennis program! We have outdoor tennis courts that are open to our membership all year round. Whether you are a recreational player
or thrive on competitive play, our tennis program has something for everyone!
Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws Updated
At the Summer Annual Membership Meeting on July 25, 2011, the assembled members voted to adopt a revised Articles of Incorporation as well as Amended and Restated Bylaws.
The revised Articles of Incorporation clarify what was long believed to be the original Articles' intent, and now allows the Bylaws to identify all matters that members may vote on.
The Amended and Restated Bylaws incorporate many of the changes that were added to the Bylaws by way of resolution or amendment over the years, as well as reflecting clarifications made in accordance with feedback received.
The new bylaws are effective as of July 25, 2011, and replace all previous versions.

2012 ANNUAL DUES NOW DUE
As announced at the Winter General Membership
Meeting on January 26, the annual dues this year has been set at
$525 for Full Members,
if postmarked by May 1, 2012.
After May 1, 2012, Annual Dues for Full Members will be $575.
After June 1, 2012, Annual Dues for Full Members will be $625.

NOTE: Also OKMSRC will be issuing membership cards this year. Please mail the registration form with your dues AND a “passport” type photo (approximately a 1x1 face shot) of each immediate family member over 5 years of age, as listed on your 2012 Registration Form.
